What can I do about crepey wrinkly
sagging skin under the eyes?
The skin around the eyes is thinner and loses its moisture quickly. To rejuvenate the skin we need to stimulate the skins ‘architecture’ by rebuilding the underlying structure .Removing the dry skin and restoring hydration is necessary to improve the skins texture.
I do not recommend botox under the eyes when sagging is present, as it could relax the orbicularis muscle causing even more sagging which can result in a tired look
PRP, platelet rich plasma rebuilds the skin around the eyes by injecting plasma concentrated with platelets, extracted from your own blood. These platelets release growth hormones that encourage the epithial tissue to grow. It “fertilisers” skin stem cells and causes the skin to produce more collagen and elastin. When I have injected a series of 3 treatments, 6 weeks apart the results have been almost like the client has had their lids tightened by surgery due to the elastin increase. The skin texture thickens resulting in younger looking plump skin.
Removing the dry dead skin cells with AHA acids and rehydrating with hyaluronic acid injections moisturises and plumps the skin resulting in younger looking skin under the eyes.
You can improve your ageing eyes, but it is a process!
